Rev. Dr. Lyle Lee
Rev. Dr. Lyle Lee is a native of Ludlow, MS, and serves as President of Huntsville Bible College and the Pastor of Madkins Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (CPCA), both located in Huntsville, AL. Dr. Lee and his wife of 11 years, Deloris, are the proud parents of two children, Lyle (Shalom) and Ora. He is also the author of a children’s book, A Child’s Ball, written in their honor, available on Kindle.
Rev. Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. He went on to complete a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, AL, and later received a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Apologetics from Birmingham Theological Seminary, where he now serves as an adjunct professor.
Throughout his ministry career, Rev. Lee has remained deeply committed to preaching and teaching the Gospel, mentoring children and youth, actively participating in urban community initiatives, supporting marginalized communities, and serving in leadership roles within the National Baptist Convention USA. His overarching vision is simple yet profound: to do God’s will.
The journey of Rev. Dr. Lyle Lee to Madkins Chapel CPCA began when the Church Session/Pastoral Search Committee introduced him to the congregation. Following several weeks of teaching, preaching, and meaningful fellowship with the members, the church prayerfully discerned the will of God and affirmed Rev. Dr. Lee as the next Pastor of Madkins Chapel. On November 2, 2025, he preached his first sermon as Pastor-Elect of Madkins Chapel. Subsequently, on May 31, 2026, the Huntsville Presbytery of the CPCA formally installed him as Pastor. God has continued to bless the ministry of Rev. Dr. Lyle Lee and Madkins Chapel. Through faithful preaching, discipleship, and outreach, new believers continue to be added to the fellowship, and the church remains encouraged by the Lord’s ongoing work in its midst.
